We offer you two products to seal your paintwork with – wax and topcoat
They are both practically odourless and easy to apply and work with.
Our Topcoat is also EN 71-3 certified so it is safe to use on childrens furniture and toys.
How do you apply?
Make sure your surface is dry and clean and with no dust. Apply a thin coat with our designated wax brushes or with a lintfree cloth. Once you have applied it it will be dry after 30-45 minutes. One layer is enough.

What is it made of?
The Nordic Chic wax is 100% made from all natural ingredients such as Bees wax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, ceresin waxes and isoparaffin.
If you need custom colors to your wax, you can ad a bit of Nordic Chic Chalk paint in the desired color, mix it well together with Clear wax and then apply it the same way as usual.
You can also make your own metallic waxes by adding Nordic Chic Fairydust into the Clear wax.
The wax is also excellent for use on unpainted wood and leather.
How do you apply?
Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Add a thin coat and let it dry for 12-14 hours and then give it a light sanding with fine grain sandpaper. Add your next thin coat and let it dry for 12-14 hours. It will then be ready to use.
We recommend that you use our Easy Topcoat Sponge to apply with but our Flat synthetic brushes will also work well.
You can also mix the Topcoat together with Nordic Chic Fairydust if you want to make metallic paints.
